Preserving the Legacy of Camp Krietenstein—Together

For over 100 years, Camp Krietenstein has been a place of adventure, leadership, and transformation for Scouts. A recent sale of the Camp property has been finalized, and now, while the property itself is privately owned by an individual having a decades-long Scouting history with the property, the Friends of Camp Krietenstein group is proud to be working hand-in-hand with the owner to ensure the camp remains a thriving hub for growth, learning, and outdoor exploration for not only Scouts, but to the broader community as well.

Through close collaboration, the Friends group is actively developing and supporting ongoing camp programming, maintenance, and infrastructure development, guaranteeing that the traditions and values that have shaped countless young lives continue to flourish. Our commitment extends beyond stewardship; our vision is bold and long-term.

We are launching a capital campaign with two ultimate goals:

• Building sustainability by establishing an endowment fund dedicated to maintaining and expanding the camp’s facilities, so that programming and guest experiences continue uninterrupted.
• Securing the future by raising the necessary funds to purchase Camp Krietenstein, ensuring its legacy is protected for generations to come.

This mission is only possible with the support of those who believe in what Camp Krietenstein stands for and who know that spaces like these build leaders, forge friendships, and cultivate resilience in young people.
