For more than a century, Camp Krietenstein has shaped lives. Generations of Scouts discovered leadership around its campfires, confidence on its trails, and lifelong friendships beneath its trees. Today, that legacy continues, not simply as a place remembered, but as a place actively serving youth, families, and the broader community.

The Friends of Camp Krietenstein exists to preserve, strengthen, and expand the camp's impact. Working in partnership with the camp's owner, volunteers, supporters, and community organizations, we are committed to ensuring Camp Krietenstein remains a vibrant destination for outdoor adventure, leadership development, conservation, education, and community engagement.

Our work centers on three priorities:

Preserve the Legacy
Protect the history, traditions, and character of Camp Krietenstein while maintaining the facilities and natural resources that have inspired generations.

Support Today's Programs
Provide volunteer leadership, financial resources, and project support that enhance the experiences of Scouts and other community groups using the camp throughout the year.

Build for Tomorrow
Our Capital Campaign focuses on two long-term objectives: establishing a permanent endowment that provides sustainable financial support for camp improvements and operations, and positioning the Friends organization to one day secure ownership of Camp Krietenstein, ensuring its future remains protected for generations to come.
